Welcome to Lync to the Stars, a charity born from love and loss in memory of our precious son, Lync. Based in Stockport, we understand first hand the unbearable heartbreak of losing a child , a pain that changes life forever. In the midst of our own grief, we found strength in wanting to keep Lync’s memory shining brightly, by reaching out to others who walk this same difficult path.

Through Lync to the Stars, we offer comfort, understanding, and support to families who have experienced the loss of a child. Our mission is simple but deeply personal , to make sure no family ever has to face this journey alone. Every act of kindness we share, every moment of support we offer, is a reflection of Lync’s light , guiding families through their darkest times and helping them find gentle ways to remember and honour their loved ones.

At Lync to the Stars, we know there is no way to take away the pain of losing a child, it is a loss that changes everything. But through small acts of care and support, we believe a difference can be made. Our aim is to ease some of the financial strain that comes with such a heart-breaking time, offering help with funeral costs such as flowers or orders of service. We also working towards providing counselling sessions in the future, for bereaved immediate family members learning to navigate life after losing a child, giving them a safe space to talk, understand their emotions, and begin to find their way forward. Above all, we strive to surround families with compassion, helping them feel less alone as they face the unimaginable.
